The main purpose of the trial session is that you and your tutor know each other. It is important that you feel comfortable with your tutor since you will be working together closely and continuously.

If you’re a complete beginner …

Your tutor will perform a small interview in English so he/she knows your motivations and goals. After the interview, the tutor will perform a basic interaction exercise, you will learn how to start a basic conversation with a native Spanish speaker.

By the end of the session, the tutor will make comments on your level, the study plan and extra material that he/she considers suitable to reach your goals. The tutor will explain also how the rewards system works.

For intermediate or advanced students…

Your tutor will perform a small interview (Spanish or English based on the student’s level) and give you an approximate level based on the Common European Framework of Reference. Do not feel embarrassed and take this opportunity to show your Spanish,  your tutor is a professional who is here to help you and not to judge you.

If you are an advanced student, the session will probably be an introductory conversation to know your goals, the tutor will comment on your level as well as on the study plan and material that he/she considers suitable to reach your goals.
